So, what do you actually do………?

Angel Blog

A question that I often get asked when introducing our business to others.  While Virtual Assistant businesses are increasing, they are not familiar to everyone.  It’s a tricky question to answer as business or administration support requirements are different for everyone.  With a conversation style Q and A, see my answers below.

Hello, my name is Nicola, as Virtual Angels, we provide virtual business support for entrepreneurs, consultants and small businesses or organisations.

Sorry, what is it you do?

We provide business or administration support in various guises, whatever you may need to help your business run efficiently.

Yes, but what do you actually do?

Virtual Angels carry out business support tasks for you, from our own offices.  For example: issuing invoices, credit control, arranging meetings or events.

Okay, I think I understand, but is that it?

No, we can provide other support services too.  Such as, preparing presentations, writing processes and procedures, book-keeping and research.  Imagine that we are your PA/Office Manager, only not based in your office, the support function that this role provides from your office, we provide from our own.  Your ‘external’ internal support service, only we don’t make the coffee!

So could you source a new supplier for me, my Broadband is due for renewal in the next couple of months and I am not sure I have the time to do it properly.

Yes, we can take care of that for you, think of us as that extra pair of hands when you are particularly busy.  You call on us when you need us, rather than having a full-time employee.

What about replying to emails or sending out a newsletter?

Yes, we can also provide those services.  The list can become infinite as we undertake a variety of tasks for our clients.  We can arrange a bespoke package for you that may be totally different from our other clients.

How will I know that you represent my business in the same way I do?

Your business will be important to us, as by extension it will become a reflection of our own business.  We provide a professional service and one of the ways we source new clients is by word of mouth.

Thanks, I now understand, do you have a business card?

Of course, I look forward to hearing from you.
